Nickolas Jerde

Nickolas has been working at Rathbun, Cservenyak & Kozol LLC since 2013. He was later introduced to the practice areas of workers’ compensation and personal injury in which he has continued to grow his practice and trial skills. He has tried cases before multiple Arbitrators in the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission as well as argued appeals before both the Commissioners at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and Illinois Appellate Court. Mr. Jerde and Mr. Magana continually strive to achieve the best results for their clients.

Mr. Jerde grew up in Ottawa, Illinois with two parents who worked hard in both the auto industry and the nursing profession. Watching both of his parents work hard and successfully to provide for their family has instilled a work ethic in him that remains priceless to him. He continually strives to fight for the rights of injured workers knowing the kind of injuries experienced in both of those professions and the need for protection from employers. The stress involved from not knowing when and if your bills will be paid due to missing wages from a work injury are constantly present for those who have suffered a work injury. Mr. Jerde is well aware of these issues and dedicates his time to pursuing this benefit along with the payment of medical bills related to work injuries.

He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Illinois State University. He then continued his education at the University of Dayton School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2013. While receiving his education at the University of Dayton School of Law, he competed on the Moot Court Team. He has been an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association since 2013.
